Choosy Chicks Choose Chicklets Design Challenge
We will start off here with the Suebeads Chicklet Design and Blog Hop!
I have been suffering from a bit of design block lately. Finally it came to me that my little chicklet would make a pretty key ring! I decided to use knotting cord with bone pieces feathers and star and then a few seed beads to dangle as well. this is what I came up with:
Haberdashery Blog Hop
this one got me way out of my elementl while suffering design block i wasn't quite sure where to take this challenge. I still may add a dangle to this pair of earrings but I at least needed to post something.
Summer Carnival Blog Hop
Last and certainly not least is my Carnival Blog Hop!!! FINALLY Creativity has returned!!! Yes it took quite a while!!!! but I started to play with my beads and this is what I started with:
This is what I created: This is the Set!
Here is a close up of the necklace:
Then there are earrings:
Then another pair of earrings:
Oh Yea a Bracelet to top this off!!!
Thank you for visiting my blog. Below you will find links to all other participants in each of the blog hops.

Wow! 3 blog hops! It boggles my mind. Congrats on getting it all done successfully.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are in good company this weekend for multiple hops. And how lucky for me that I get to see them all in one visit. I stopped by for the Haby Hop today and would have been back tomorrow for chicklets. As a bonus I get treated to your carnival designs too. Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are lovely. I really love the color of your chicklet and you set it off well with your other choices. I really like paper beads - now fabric beads I'm going to have to explore. I like those earrings! Your merry-go-rounds are so cute! And your carnival pieces with Lisa's beads are great. Yay for the return of creativity!
ReplyDeleteWow. All your bases are covered. I love your chicklet design and the merry go round beads are the cutest things ever.
ReplyDeleteWhat great designs. I really like the necklace that you made for the Carnival hop.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been busy. Love all of your pieces. What did you use on your fabric rolls to hold them together?
ReplyDeleteWOW 3 hops in one day I thought I was doing great when I had 3 in one week. Your key chain is very unique and creative. The blue fabric earrings are pretty. Your merry-go-rounds are adorable. You are a clever girl. Your red, white, and blue set is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI see absolutely NO design block here! Oh wow..all of your pieces are beautiful. Can I say that I'm really loving those puff merry-go-round beads?! Perfect little replicas..love them!
ReplyDeleteWell that is a busy saturday! I like the fabric beads, I'd like to try that! And I absolutely love your merry go round woven pieces, so sweet. Great job with all your hops.
ReplyDeleteLove the merry go rounds based on Julia's day pendant. It one of her patterns I have not done yet. Your variation is fun.
ReplyDeleteAll such great designs. I see no block here and to take on 3 hops all at once you are a brave soul I can barely handle one.
ReplyDeleteoh my ... this is hop mania! lovely designs - those beaded beads of the merry-go-round are absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteYou were hop crazy! Love that you included them all together...that way I could see all your lovelies since I'm trying to visit for all 3 of the hops :) Love that you went out of the jewelry box for your chicklet...it does make a great key ring. The easy fabric earrings are great...it's always better to share something then nothing so great job not being defeated by your lack of muse. The carnival collection is just gorgeous...those merry go rounds are truly amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea for the chicklet.
ReplyDeleteVery useful as well as pretty.

Holy Moley, Heather - you have been busy! I love your Merry Go Round Pendant. I think the wrap bracelet with the anchor is my favorite. I would wear that a lot. Thanks for being in the Summer Carnival Hop!
ReplyDeleteBusy girl, all lovely pieces, love the chicklet key chain!
ReplyDeleteYou have been really busy! I love all of your pieces, and I love your little carosels. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteCommenting on the Chicklets Challenge - I love how this challenge has brought out the "simple yet beautiful" in all of us!
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been really busy! I especially like the Merry Go Round Pendant. Nice job on everything.
ReplyDeleteWow such a busy lady, I absolutely love all your pieces. Good job in making it into one post.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!!
"Chicklets" --- Lovely 'simple' design. Great key ring with nice details! Beautiful colours♥
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I came for the Chicklet blog hop but feel like "I got 3 for the price of 1!" I really love the unique shades of green and the design of your keychain, but I enjoyed getting to see all 3 of your entries!
ReplyDeleteOMG really - great job on all the three hops. The chicklets piece is fresh and airy and I really love your beaded merry go rounds - they remind me of little rattle toys - very sweet
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces Heather! Your little carnival pendants are sweet, love them. The fabric roll earrings are nifty, thanks for joining in with my blog hop!
ReplyDeleteWe had so much fun together yet again designing, talking about ideas for these two hops. You make such great one of a kind pieces and today we'll make more again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to combine all three hops in one blog! It was a busy weekend! I love the chicklet keyring! You could also use it as a purse bling. Your carnival seed beads pendants are fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteTHOSE CAROUSEL BEADS! Holy crow. I'm amazed!
ReplyDeleteOMG, those carousel beads...how beautiful! I love them. And your jewelry set...I love it....seems like all of us red/white/blue of some kind. Excellent job!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, hats off for participating in all blog hops in spite of the design block you feel. Looking at your pieces, you have overcome it - the key-ring is pretty and can also turn into a purse dangle and the merry-go-round dangles are uniquely beautiful! Rolled fabric beads are totally in the theme of the haby hop and you can make more to add to necklaces and bracelets as a different design element!
ReplyDeleteGreat design with your chicklet. That will make a great key finder. I know I lose my keys all the time! Beautiful designs.
ReplyDelete-Charlie
